Mary Margaret Park (MMP Publishing) has updated her weblog with fresh content and perspectives for February/March 2012. Strutting along in her promotional efforts, she has added the following poems to her front page: “The Constellations Will Follow” – “One Mind Reels” – “Passage Left, Nowhere Right” – “Moods” – “Line” – And while this update did not bring along any of her political or uninhibited article styling, she has promised to come back hard and stab away at the landscape formerly known as reality (without a hitch it would seem). Regarding the work she will be doing with collaborator Sekrett Scilensce; all things seem to be hush-hush at present.
Who here dares to speculate?

Secret Silence (Sekrett Scilensce Associates) has updated his weblog with fresh content and perspectives for February/March 2012. Moving along in his promotional efforts, he has slated the songs “Control” and “The Love Is Sound” to be delivered to North American audiences via YouTube and direct from his instant browser download webpage (what did we just say?) – Further updates include his work with collaborator Mary Margaret Park, where he’ll be aiding in the transition to direct-for-download titles, easily accessed from all PC/MAC, Mobile, and Handheld devices.
Technology testing will have him deep-fried and crispy, you think?

There are some people that think we’re crazy for removing certain portions of our sites, network-wide. Well, the truth is that these sections are probably not really important in the times we’re living in. It started when our press section was removed. Many of our email-list members and LinkedIn contacts seemed outraged that we’d ditch this effort altogether. Why should we keep it? Our platform has more than enough traffic, and right now, the way things are headed, all the old distribution models are out. Maybe we’re an exception to some rule (which we’d never follow anyway), but right now, piggybacking and purchasing biz-credibility is very much a thing of the past. And to those touting metrics, analytics, or whatever that jargon was, get over yourselves.
You can’t waste time. Time is sucked away quickly and easily (just with the work put into something we’re trying to stabilize), and at any given time, many of our/your efforts may prove unbeneficial. Maybe not because we’re/you’re a dupe or have bad judgment, but maybe because frankly, it isn’t necessary anymore.
The press doesn’t care (not the main editors and staff writers anyway). All this online plastering etc., is just a money racket (similar to music industry programs over the web or work at home opportunities).
It has always been the case that no one really cares at first glance (that’s nothing new).
This goes for anything we often deem “old paradigm”.
So basically, yes, we removed a lot of the offered services, press release and external content. We’re still giving everyone what they want, which is the great free music and writings.
It didn’t, doesn’t, and will not change.
(And to be fair, yes, if you’re working totally traditional then yes, blah blah, you are hostage to the system because of your EDGAR filing etc.) – But! Who cares…?
Get it…..?

It isn’t untrue that Governments spy on entities that they deem to be pressing dissent. It is important to understand that many organizations play the legalese card to clear their role, but in truth, we always wonder, “why”? You’ll see those warnings that read: “The opinions or views depicted may not represent those of the [insert company name here]”. Okay, but if you distribute, produce, or aid anything then you are in fact, endorsing it. But that brings us to the point of it all. What is social responsibility? We believe it isn’t just about covering your own tracks. We believe that it is about endorsing high quality art, highlighting artistic merit, and engaging individuals/groups and other miscellaneous entities with thought provoking, intellectual, or controversial content.
That’s only what we think. Does it mean anything more than that? It depends on the readers, listeners, or viewers perceptions.
All things being unequal, we too had our visit from the DHS (Department of Homeland Security). It wasn’t as extensive as anything they ever put Sekrett Scilensce (Secret Silence) through, but they still came. The reason for that is as simple as above, “association”.

We will carry on doing what we do best, and for the rest, we will cross those bridges when we get there. The social responsibility we are taking today is to let all of you know that “it is true that the U.S. Government tracks and profiles blogs, social media sites, forums, and politically themed bulletin systems”.
A Tuesday for us but to some people, an Orwellian nightmare…
